Terms and Conditions of Sale

Article 1. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern the sales of products by Maison Kardinal (ELYSIUM COMPANY LLC) to any adult individual acting for purposes outside their professional activity, via the website maisonkardinal.com.
Article 2. Acceptance
Any order implies full and unreserved acceptance of these GTC, which prevail over any other document. The customer acknowledges having read the GTC before placing an order.
Article 3. Products
The products offered are described precisely in the product sheets. Photographs are not strictly contractual: a product may differ slightly from its on-screen representation depending on your device's calibration.
Some products are offered for pre-order. The announced lead time on the product page is indicative and may vary by a few days depending on the availability of raw materials.
Article 4. Price
Prices are indicated in euros, all taxes included (TTC), excluding delivery costs. Maison Kardinal reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, it being understood that the price applied is that in force at the time the order is placed.
Article 5. Order
The customer places an order online. The order is validated by payment. Maison Kardinal reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order for legitimate reasons (out of stock, suspicion of fraud, payment default).
Article 6. Payment
Payment is made online by credit card or via the methods offered by the payment provider Shopify Payments. The transaction is secure. Maison Kardinal does not have access to the customer's bank details.
Article 7. Delivery
Delivery times and rates are specified on the Delivery page. These times are indicative and cannot hold Maison Kardinal liable in the event of a delay by the carrier. The transfer of risks occurs upon handing over the package to the carrier.
Article 8. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with article L.221-18 of the Consumer Code, the customer has a period of fourteen days from receipt of the order to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to give reasons.
Maison Kardinal extends this period to thirty days for commercial reasons.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to personalized products (internal engraving of a message or initials beyond the standard engraved MAISON KARDINAL signature).
Article 9. Returns and refunds
The product must be returned in its original condition and packaging, accompanied by the case and certificate of origin, to the address provided after request to contact@maisonkardinal.com. Return costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless Maison Kardinal is at fault.
Refunds will be issued within fourteen days of receipt of the return, using the same method as that used for the purchase.
Article 10. Warranties
All products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (two years, articles L.217-3 et seq. of the Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (article 1641 of the Civil Code).
Maison Kardinal also grants a lifetime commercial warranty on the structure, inlays, and internal engraving, under the conditions specified on the Warranty page.

Article 13. Disputes and applicable law
These GTC are governed by French law for orders delivered in France. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts in accordance with general legal rules.
Before any contentious action, the consumer may resort to a consumer mediator. European online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
