Sizes
How do I find my ring size?
Consult our size guide. It offers two methods (with an existing ring or with string/paper) and a US, FR, UK conversion chart with a calculator.
What if I'm between two sizes?
Always choose the larger size. A slightly loose ring remains comfortable, while a ring that is too tight is impossible to wear and cannot be resized (tungsten cannot be resized).
Can you resize my ring after purchase?
No, tungsten is too hard to be cut. This is also what makes it resistant for life. In case of incorrect size, we offer free exchanges within thirty days of delivery.
Pre-order
Why are some sizes on pre-order?
We keep immediate stock for US sizes 8, 10, 11, and 12, which cover the vast majority of men's fingers. Sizes 7 and 13 are on pre-order to avoid immobilizing dormant stock and to keep production consistent with actual demand.
What is the lead time for sizes 7 and 13?
Four to six weeks after order for most models. The exact lead time is indicated on the product page at the time of order.
Am I charged immediately for a pre-order?
Yes. Pre-ordering secures your place in the next production run. You can cancel within fourteen days of ordering for a full refund.
Delivery
What are the delivery times in France?
Ten to fifteen working days in metropolitan France. You will receive a tracking number by email upon dispatch.
Do you deliver outside of France?
Yes: Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Rest of Europe. See Delivery page for rates.
Delivery fees?
€4.90 in France. Free for orders over €99.
Returns
How many days do I have to return an item?
Thirty days after receipt. Fourteen days minimum guaranteed by European right of withdrawal law.
Return fees?
At your expense unless there was an error on our part.
Engraved items?
Personalized items (interior message engraving beyond the engraved MAISON KARDINAL signature) are not eligible for return, in accordance with the consumer code.
Warranty
What is the lifetime warranty?
See our Warranty page. It covers the structure, inlays, setting, and the engraving of the engraved MAISON KARDINAL signature.
Cases not covered?
Breakage due to violent impact, loss, theft, size modification, wear of fragile materials (wood, opal) under extreme conditions.
How to activate it?
Email contact@maisonkardinal.com with engraved MAISON KARDINAL signature and photos. Response within 48 hours.
Care
Can I wear my ring in the shower?
Yes for tungsten, carbon, plated silver, Alchemist. No for Bourbon (wood), Galaxy (opal), Aurore (rose gold and meteorite), Cosmos (rose gold). See Care page.
During sports?
Yes for 100% tungsten rings. Precautions for rings with gold, wood, opal.
How to clean it?
Soft cloth, warm soapy water for tungsten. See Care page for other materials.
Authenticity of materials
How do I know the meteorite is real?
Each piece with meteorite comes with a certificate indicating the origin (Gibeon, Namibia) and the weight of the fragment. The Widmanstätten pattern visible to the naked eye is an indicator of the authenticity of cosmic iron-nickel.
Where does the Damascus steel come from?
Our Damascus steel is forged in two hundred layers according to the traditional technique. The forge is selected for the quality and regularity of the pattern. Origin specified in the booklet.
Is the gold hallmarked?
Yes, 18-carat gold pieces bear the 750 hallmark.
Packaging
How is the item delivered?
In a matte black Maison Kardinal case, black velvet interior, accompanied by the provenance booklet and the engraved MAISON KARDINAL signature.
With a certificate?
Yes: signed provenance booklet, certificate for the main materials (meteorite, gold, opal depending on the piece).
